gun names are so much more fun.

how about ruger colt if a boy? :D

and for a girl, daisy beebee :P

The results are in...and it's a no :P

We were thinking about Sebastian, but we ended up choosing Aidan (which means "little fire"). "Sebastian" reminds me of the kid in The Neverending Story (it was either that or Atreyu). We also thought about Ian (my half-brother's middle name), Christopher, Caleb, Thomas, Joaquin, and Rafael. We knew that we were going to give him "Marcos" for a middle name though, since my fiancee's name is Marcos, and so is his grandfather. Before we knew he was a boy, we were thinking of Isabella for a girl's name.

Hadn't thought about the neverending story (although, it was a good movie!). We wanted names that had both english and spanish pronunciations. One of Justin's friends said "typical! all musicians name their kids Sebastian, for Sebastian Bach!" We hadn't even thought about that one either.

(the name Joaquin would so get butchered here in the US!)

i love the name Marina and I love the name Sebastian.

Thanks!

Looks like it will be Andrea Marina. We went to PF Changs yesterday and Justin opens his fortune cookie...and it said "Girl"!! How weird is that!!!

Caro

I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow, so 7 or 8 more weeks?. Depends if we change providers and decide to go with the birthing center after we tour it on Wednesday (which I think is very likely) :)

How accurate is it at 16w? We are dying to find out!

My insurance covers all tests at 80%, I don't think there is a limit on the number of U/S

it depends. i think it is more difficult if they say it's a girl, they might get confused. but when they say it's a boy, it's almost always accurate. also, the baby might be sleeping and refuses to move and it's in an impossible position to figure it out. so it's a risk you take.

in my case, the woman was almost 100% sure, because she could definitely tell his privates were on the outside. then at 20 weeks i had another u/s and they were positive. then at 23 weeks i think i had my d u/s and there it was, obvious it was a #######.

here are the pics:

aawww too cute!

I would be a lot happier with more U/S than what our current doctor is offering us, I'll see what the policy of the birthing center is regarding that. Thanks!

Awww, Marina is the name I've chosen if I have a daughter, that choice has been unchanged for about 10 years, since I first started hearing my clock tick. Still not pregnant but hopefully in the next two years we'll start trying. For a boy Luis and I are still arguing. But Marina is set on.

Marina is indeed a very nice name. In spanish it means "navy". my mom got the name because she was born just in the middle of the "Liberating Revolution" which kicked Peron out of government ending his second presidency

On September 16, 1955, a nationalist Catholic group from both the Army and Navy, led by General Eduardo Lonardi, General Pedro E. Aramburu and Admiral Isaac Rojas, took power in a coup which they named Revolución Libertadora (the "Liberating Revolution"). Perón barely escaped with his life, three days later.

My grandparents did not like Peron at all :P
