waiting for my wife... think I will cook her dinner

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

do any of you have any good make ahead/freeze recipes? I really seriously do not want to rely on my mom's very bad cooking while recovering from surgery. I want to make some stuff (besides soup) that I can freeze so I have good food to eat. any recipes will be greatly appreciated!

I posted a couple recipes over on expats that I thought looked good.. I haven't tried them though...

thanks marilyn and nessa!

I ended up making 3 soups, turkey meatloaf, veggie lasagna, braised shortribs and a cake  Why the hell did I make a cake? I have no clue, but I made a cake that I won't even eat! I'll make a few more things tomorrow and then I'm done with it!

We were thinking about Sebastian, but we ended up choosing Aidan (which means "little fire"). "Sebastian" reminds me of the kid in The Neverending Story (it was either that or Atreyu). We also thought about Ian (my half-brother's middle name), Christopher, Caleb, Thomas, Joaquin, and Rafael. We knew that we were going to give him "Marcos" for a middle name though, since my fiancee's name is Marcos, and so is his grandfather. Before we knew he was a boy, we were thinking of Isabella for a girl's name.

My first was a Daisy Classic. Oh how I loved that BB gun. I am so sad that I do not have it. :bonk:

How about XD40 for name? Now that is a good one - sexy AND classic!
