Yes, it's very awesome. I can buy a new lens for my camera! We had a photofrapher over today for more press pics and I was allowed to play with his EOS1 and the lenses he had - we are talking €2500 lenses. I wanted to grab is camera bag and run.

they pay you OT... that's more reliable than a bonus IMO cuz you earn it the minute you work it.

we may get a bonus in about a month too. the ceo did say there will be a bonus pool, now its up to my managers to deem me worthy

my friend is supposed to get a 5% bonus every year since she's at the top of the pay scale at her job (so no raise). this year it was supposed to be almost $20k bonus anyways, she found out on sunday they're not giving a bonus to anyone and people who are supposed to get a 5% pay raise only get a 1% pay raise.

she was really upset about it because this year was the first year she got a bonus instead of a raise. now she gets nothing. i doubt she's hurting for money but i know she feels jipped.
