so i called the personnel office and i asked this woman about donating leave and she said they can't donate for maternity leave. then she asked how many weeks i'd take off, i said 12 and she said but maternity leave is allowed 6 weeks only.

then i said no, FMLA allows 12 weeks, and she said no, FMLA doesn't cover maternity leave. #######? i got my NAF handbook andi was right. so anyway, she said she'd called me back then she called me back and said i can have 12 weeks if approved by my boss. ####### again.

I'll have to go there and speak to someone who knows their job.

#######? If you want FMLA, they don't have to know what the F#$@% you want/need it for. As long as you have the proper medical stuff from your doctor. Helll, if Matilda gets it, I don't see why you should not.

dayum matilda. now i'm wondering if i should turn in the paperwork soon, or wait til i give birth. because if i do now, i'll be estimating when i'll be taking leave. if i do the day i give birth (well, charles would have to turn in the paperwork) then i'd have the exact date.

yeah we'll see how it goes this time. this lady i spoke to i really dislike talking to. her english sucks hardcore and i know, i'm a foreigner, i should be more tolerant

well, my english is not perfect, but i catch myself knowing more than americans quite often. mispelling that i'd never do, u know, the basic, there, their, they're, than, then, your, you're, using e before ing, like makeing, bakeing, definately, defenetaly, etc
