Good afternoon kids!

I wonder why Simspsons re-runs never get tired. I have seen all those episodes at least 10 times and I stil get a laugh out of it. For years they have been showing two episodes a day at 6pm.

Morning people :)

I'm coloring my hair today. I decided to stick with the red color one more time. Next time I will go back to blonde for the summer. I've started my vitamin/supplement stuff for my surgery :blink: I seriously feel like I'm some sort of really sick person. I am taking 14 pills in the morning and 6 in the afternoon :blink::blink: Thank god I only have to do this for 4 weeks.

Nessa I hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rest!

Kiddo - wait until AFTER surgery for coloring the hair. :)

I'd have to wait 4 weeks after surgery! I can't wait another 6 weeks to color my hair. I would look so trashy with roots like that!

Believe me - hospital water is the sh1ts for colored hair. :blush:

does anyone know why you can't do it for so long before and after surgery? i'm sure it probably has something to do with the chemicals but i can't find anything on google

I am not sure - but I have heard you should not do it within 4 weeks each way (after/before surgery); and also during pregnancy at certain times. My cousin had to stop doing her highlights when she got preggers, at least of I think 5 months.

so i called the personnel office and i asked this woman about donating leave and she said they can't donate for maternity leave. then she asked how many weeks i'd take off, i said 12 and she said but maternity leave is allowed 6 weeks only.

then i said no, FMLA allows 12 weeks, and she said no, FMLA doesn't cover maternity leave. #######? i got my NAF handbook andi was right. so anyway, she said she'd called me back then she called me back and said i can have 12 weeks if approved by my boss. ####### again.

I'll have to go there and speak to someone who knows their job.
