Bleh! I'm at home right now. I have a cold or some such nonsense. My throat hurts and I'm stuffy. I actually thought I'd make it through the whole pregnancy without getting sick. I guess I was wrong. Anyway, I have jury duty later today. I really, really hope they don't pick me for the jury. I mean, honestly, how can a 6 month pregnant woman sit on a jury for a trial? It's nearly impossible.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I would just tell them you're pregnant and your hormones won't let you make good decisions :P

Hope you feel better soon!

I am well :) I normally get sick when the weather changes from warm to cold, but I'm taking so many vitamins so I heal faster from my surgery, I don't think I'll get sick ever. Normally I just take a multiviatmin packet thingy. I sleep with a humidifier in my bedroom and we have a humidifier that runs through the furnace. I used to get sick A LOT before I started doing that.

I figure I'll just go in there with tons of explanations why I can't sit on the jury. For starters my doctor wants me drinking 80 ounces of fluids a day. I can't do that while on the jury. Secondly, if I did do that I'd be going to the bathroom at least 5 or 6 times during the trial. They won't allow that many potty breaks. For another thing, it states pregnant women should not sit or stand for long periods of time. So unless they want to let me get up at various times during the trial then I can't do it. Plus, I have to eat snacks. I can't go from breakfast to lunch or lunch to dinner without one. So they would have to allow me to eat during the trial. Not gonna happen. I'm hoping at least one of those explanations will work.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
