I think we're going to wait until we go back to the US to have a baby. We're getting married in about 5 weeks and then we plan on living here in Brazil until about March 2010 (so about one year).

THEN we'll start thinking about having a baby. I want one soo badly RIGHT NOW, but I'm *trying* to be practical about it!

It's hard....I'm a bit baby crazy! But at least here in Brazil I have my nephews (or rather, the sons of his brother and sister). One of them is 3 and one of them is 2 -both boys. They tide me over until I can have my own.

Here it's just me, hubby, his parents and two teen sisters. Hubby is a very quiet, shy type and doesn't have a lot of friends 'cus he enjoys reading and computer games. He's actually excited to move to Brasil maybe next year 'cus he loves my brothers and his friends.

One of my concerns about having a baby is how their head will be!

I have quite a small head but my fiance's head is HUGE!

I was 8 lbs 8.5 ounces. One of my brothers weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and the other brother was 9 lbs 5.5 ounces. My mom is about 2 inches shorter than I am. I'm 5'3". I can't imagine her carrying an almost 10 lb baby. Of course, hoping both my babies weigh close to 5 lbs a piece I'll find out what it's like to carry around 10 lbs of baby very shortly.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I am 5'3" too Charity. My doc said there was simply no more room for my two, thus they came early because I guess they decided it was getting just a little too squishy in there,...lol

Mind you,.....once T was born, S decided she didn't wanna make an entrance for another 17 minutes,....lol

But with a 3 hour labour start to finish, i couldnt complain,..lol

OMG Jodee - you normally hear of twins being just little mins apart but 17 mins - whoa. Today at the doc there was a woman who was pregnant with a baby and had another in a carrier. I looked at the baby in the carrier and she looked about 2 mos old - I gave her this inquiring minds want to know look - She said, she had gone into premature labor with one twin and they were able to do a c-section and keep the other baby in there till she's due in a few weeks. Craziness!

Wow!,..as amazing as that sounds, I am so glad they are able to do that sort of thing now. 15 years ago, she could of very well lost the other twin. I love the advances in medical science, truly amazing!..:)
