The HR woman showed up. Matilda freaked and screamed. HR lady says "if you do not comply, this is insubordination and cause for termination"

Matilda: "but it's a stupid idea" (whatever he had been asked to do)

HR lady: "well, that is irrelevant; your manager asked you to do it bal bla bla...."

Matilda: "SCREAM: I AM BEING TREATED POORLY"

next up - Matilda leaves and calls his union rep. The DEpartment Head (who is dealing with Carol's death and whatnot) has to come out and tell him to stfu --- I officially work in a soap opera.
