k now another question. i don't ever use fat stuff, i always use the light ingredients. would it make that much of a difference of the crema cheese, butter and sour cream were low fat?

I tried a low-fat cheesecake at a local bakery once. Let's just say I'd rather eat the real thing once a year than that low-fat version once a month.

IMO people eat cake for joy, not nourishment. So gotta make it count!

ok i'll buy regular cream cheese. now for the butter i think i'll go lowfat. how about the sour cream?

I think it's safe to go low fat on the sour cream as well, Nessa. IMO if the consistency and texture is the same go for it. I know that in margarine the fat free or low fat stuff tend to have a different consistency, but then again for every one of them in US/PR have a different consistency than our claybom from Brasil. But light margarine/butter doesn't melt the same as regular stuff, that's what I mean.

I think I've done a cheesecake with light/low-fat cream cheese.

Maybe you could try regular butter and light cream cheese and sour cream?

the cream cheese i think they're right, it will make a difference in consistency and taste. the butter i think since it's only for the graham crust it might not. the sour cream still not sure

maybe i'll go with everything fat, since i never bake cakes. once a year wont kill anyone.

Low-fat may be considered sacrilege, but I always use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream, no-one including myself can tell the difference.

ok now i can't decide. i think my brain is on decision break. i've been making some many decisions by myself related to this pregnancy i can't wait for it to be over. what furniture to buy, which diaper, formula, wall color, bedding set, and i can keep going on and on forever.

GOOD NEWS!!

I requested my 12 weeks leave yesterday. My boss came talk to me and said she isn't the one who decides, it's her boss (our division coordinator). I know she gave this woman on the other building 12 weeks last year. I filled in for her a few nights while she was on maternity leave. So hopefully she will give me the 12 weeks.

Now for the good news, my boss said that since i'm having a c-section I can request leave donation. that 's so awesome. if i can get any more money in my pocket.

I've bought light cream cheese without noticing the difference. Like I said, I notice it in the butter/margarine, but not on the cream cheese.
