You know what I hate? Cheesecake with fruit on top. #######? I like my cheesecake like i like my bichez, au naturel. No drizzles, no coatings, nada.

If I did like cheesecake I would agree. I don't like fruit or anything on top of my funnel cakes either!

I like cheesecake so much so my first wedding cake was cheesecake, white chocolate, and it was the BOMB!

I drop some bombs after eating a lot of cheesecake too.

So at the moment I have no job, no passport so I can't get a job and am stuck in the purgatory which is AP.

Also means I have time to burn but no money to burn.

Anyways I have been trying to fill my days constructively, I have been teaching myself how to knit, its been a bit tricky but you can see my scarf half in progress below.

And I have been trying to be economical whilst cooking creative meals. Today's choice of French Onion Soup has both helped 2 hours to fly by and has ended with something yummy.

Wow, that is such thin thread and intricate pattern you're knitting there! As a child mom taught me hand crafts and I know cross stitching well, paper piecing patchwork but knitting I tried and failed. I think all I ever did was a little dress for my Barbie.

That soup looks rich!

I think it looks more impressive, than it is. I bought the needles and a ball of wool and it came with the pattern for free.

Its simply cast on 38 stitches

then

Knit 1 Row

Purl 1 Row

Pattern Row (Knit 1, K2 tog x3, YO K1 x 6, K2 tog x6,YO K1 x 6, K2 tog x3, K1)

Knit Row

and then repeat all four rows.

I taught myself using wikipedia and video jug. SO there have been a few upsets along the way but its going ok.

My mentality is cook with the wine you drink. That being sad when I am broke I've been known to buy cheap wine for pot roast marinade (guilty!). Not that I drink the expensive kind either, can't afford 100+ dollars wine.
