Oh! And to all who were here yesterday to witness my meltdown about the alleged twins.... Bren brought me twins last night.... two new baby budgies. Both are unusually white feathered with tints of baby blue :luv:

I tell you, that Bren comes up with the sweetest ideas  --- I might just have sex with him

looking back, it was a sign :D

can we get a pic of your pair of budgies? :innocent:

That's so cool! You have to post some pics of the new babies. I wanna see, I wanna see. And I guess you are allowed to have sex with him. That was an awfully sweet thing to do. :P

Pass me some of that dulce de leche while you're at it.

I don't have any here --- but do have several bottles of cajeta at home he he he. Nessa posted a recipe for it though, so there yah go :P

Yeah, I saw that. I've actually done that before. I even have some sweetened condensed milk at home so I might just do that. I'm sure Javi would appreciate it. We have a whole bag of pan at home right now he bought last night at the latino store. One of those conchas with some dulce de leche on it would be a dream.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

copy from the baby thread:

update: had my 35 weeks appointment. lost 1.6 lbs in 2 weeks, which is normal, last time i gained 2.4. u never know when it's water weight.

anyway, baby Ben will be born on April 13th. We scheduled a c-section.

For those who don't know my story:

I broke 3 bones on my pelvis when I was 20. My doctor back then said I should never have natural birth because there was a chance it would break again. Today I had a serious talk with the doctor and she said if the doctor was concerned enough back when I broke it to say I shouldn't do it natural way, then she believes it's the best thing to do. We won't risk me breaking it again and spending another 6 months in bed without being able to do anything.

I think if there's 1% chance that would happen, we should have the c-section.

It would not be my choice if things were different. I'm 100% pro natural birth.

@laura: dulce de leche heer is nothing compared to the one in brazil, unless you do that the way i mentioned on my previous post, or if u find one in a mexican aisle.

I agree; you need to take care of yourself and the pinto bean properly; not with a broken back -ouch!- (F)

Nessa I think that's a very wise decision. Good luck with the c-section.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
