I went to the personnel office to ask them if what my boss's boss said was true. She said that the name we're ''registered'' that we have all our paperwork and all is the same name that's on our social security. Her name is Sandra and she is called Sandy. She says her e-mail is sandra and her signature is sandy, she goes by sandy and everybody knows her as sandy.

Bottom line, if my boss's boss was telling the truth, on christine's case for example, her name would have to be chris on her social security. But if it was chris on her SS, why would her army e-mail be christine? U know what I mean?

for those who weren't following this soap opera about me being the only one who can't use nessa, but have to be vanessa on my signature, answering the phone, name tags, etc, read the red chapter below.

so I spoke to my boss's boss. She said that we have to use our name the way it is in the roster. Nametags, t-shirts, everything that is bought for the staff needs to have our ''real'' name. Same with signature block. When I asked why can they use the name they go by - Christine (Chris), Dorothy (Dottie), i mentioned 5 more names and then I said I could keep going on and on, she said that they're using the name they're registered at the personnel office, the name that's on the roster.

I don't buy it, but oh well, at least I know it's not something my boss was doing against me, it's a general lie.

since i'm stubborn and hate being lied to, i will go to the civilian personnel office and ask them what's the deal, seriously, i don't buy it and i still need a reasonable explanation.

that's not unusual around here. my boss says we can't park the car in certain spots because those are parents parking places, it has to be available for them. but guess what? she parks there.
