Hi, I got my 3 NOAs also on Friday 20th Feb. It was great knowing that my paper has arrived safe, now is to wait for the Biometrics appointment letter to come.

We're doing great, thank you! Life is treating us well so far, and we are very happy together. It was really worth the wait!

I'm so glad to hear that. You know, it is kind of exciting and it's a much more pleasant experience now that we're not separated by thousands of miles. It's awesome.

I live in Chicago and this is what I have got so far!!! Good Luck to everybody..

I think my case is procesed in the National Benefits Center because the receipt shows MSC and then some other numbers but the case is not available online:

Send AOS - 2/2

Received - 2/3

Check cashed - 2/6

Got all 3 NOA's - 2/7

Appointment for Biometrics NOA - 2/13

Biometrics appointment for -2/26

Met each other through Internet: Sept 2007

Started Talking through MSN Messenger: Oct 2007

I Came to USA for vacations: Jan 2008

Married: Dec 30, 2008

Feb 03,2009 Filed for AOS . Sent through USPS Priority Express

Feb 7th, 2009 : NOA 1 received on I-485, I-130, I-765.

Feb 13th: Biometrics appointment letter

Biometrics Taken: Feb 26th

Interview Letter Dated March 20-Received March 25:)

Interview Date: May 5th-2009

I sent my packet on the 13th and was delievred on the 15th (per USPS website), but until now, I still do not have my NOA. My check is not yet encashed.Sigh.

hi!

i think i read before that lots of cases aren't available online until after the biometrics appointment. i can't see my case online either. at least it's not long to go before you have your biometrics appointment. good luck to you too!

Waiting for my NOA's and check to be cash..sigh

Hi there Feb AOS Filers...

My fiance is from Indonesia and was granted her K-1 in January 2009. Early this month she arrived in the US and we were married on the 26th of February. I have read through the Forum on preparing the AOS paperwork, and have downloaded the forms from the USCIS website. However, after filling out the I-485 I still have a few questions:

Q1: On form I-485, do I put my fiance's new married name in Part 1; specifically, if my last name is Smith, Do I put her "Family Name" as Smith, and "Given Name" as her first Name (Keke)?

Q2: After getting married, we applied for a social security number with the local Social Security office. Do I need to wait until we receive this number before we submit the I-485 and other AOS paperwork?
