* You don't have to print 130 & 485, but you had better know what you have written on those forms, because IO will likely ask some questions from those forms.

* The copy of your wife's BC is enough, but also do not forget to take your wife's Naturalization Certificate (Original) and/or US Passport.

* You do not have to fill out another I-864, just bring the 2008 Joint Tax Return with you, most of the IOs wants to see this Joint Tax Return which is the primary evidence of the bona fide marriage anyway.

and also in general, bring to the interview whatever you have got, do not leave any holes uncovered. Believe me you do not want to send any document/s to your IO after the interview which will delay your approval.

Btw, GC production has been resumed to normal operation after about 6-week delay.

GOOD LUCK !.....

If you have any question you know how to find me.

GO ITALY ( WORLD CUP CHAMPION ) !.............

Approved. W00t!

Only thing worth noting that occurred during the interview byt the field agent was the translation of the birth certificate was in her opinion, and I'd have to agree with her, a summary, not an actual word-by-word or line-by-line translation. Regardless of it being notorized. We weren't being blamed, however she was not too happy with the individual swearing it is an accurate translation. Water under the bridge. Approved!

Well AP was received in the mail today.....I'm pretty stoked :dance:

I felt so dumb... my husband and I planned a trip to Niagara Falls in CA & I was so excited because he had gotten AP in the mail already.

WELLL.... turns out he needed a visa to cross the border & thank god I found out the day before! I just happened to check online to see what I needed to bring (birth certificate, passport? I know there's some new rules) and it stated that if you don't have a greencard and you're from the following countries you need a tourist visa.

OMG so we went to Washington DC instead & were able to transfer our hotel reservation from CA to DC they felt sorry for us! LOL

I think New Zealand is not on that list though. So if you want to go to Niagara you should be okay! :)

Any good news ? Any updates ?

What is going on ?

Sometimes I wonder If USCIS has been working or hibernating in the summer time ?????

Cino,

As you are aware that we all believe Green Cards have a Green light again for production. I recieved my email (second time) from CRIS yesterday stating that card production ordered 06-15-09.

Let's hope I get it soon this time.

Regards,

Fahad

Hi Cino, I've been MIA for a while...please update my status. We were approved on May 28, I've received my welcome letter and my GC is on its way. Here are details of our interview in Irving, TX on May 28, 2009.

Our interview was scheduled for 7:30am we arrived at 7:10am, checked in and we were given a buzzer that would go off when it was our turn. We waited for over an hour and finally it was our turn. The officer was and old guy and he didn't seem too friendly at first but later he opened up and laughed with us.

He asked for my passport and and drivers licence(my husband is the USC) and he asked for only my husbands license. He went through my passport and commented that I was still legal. Then he confirmed everything on my application such as date of birth and my parents names. Then he asked if we live together and I said not completely because my job allows me to work on rotation 2wks on and 1wk off.So I go home during my days off. He seemed a bit put off but he understood. Then he asked for leases, joint accounts etc and then he said he would approve us! He told us that I could get a stamp on my passport so I can travel before I receive my gc in the mail! And we went to get the stamp! that was it!!!

I know that I have been in Niagara falls actually, but she wrote it down "CA". That is why I thought CA stands for California :) It is clear now. Sorry misunderstanding.

WOOHOO!!!

Logged into USCIS web site and....

Current Status: Card production ordered.

That would be a card of the green kind unless I am very much mistaken

Ladies and Gentlemen I am off to my friendly neighborhood bar where I intend to drink a vast quantity of beer (I have been practicing for this).

Cheers
