im just wondering about the fact that it has been saying 6 months now for the past couple of months on the USCIS website for K3 and i-130. So does this mean after 6 months of me sending in the application thats when they will start processing my application? or really do you think it will take longer than that before they even look at it...any one got any experience?

Basically at the end of Feb its been 6 months since my NOA1...and had no touches or anything......so hoping by next month things should start happening................what do you guys think

it says the same thing for k1 out of csc but my OWN opinion is that they think they will be done in that time but can prolong it by security checks some are lucky and get done with it in that amount of time i hope ur one of them

In reality, its about 7-8 months, some are longer.

I hope you hear something soon.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

It also sometimes takes them awhile to update the processing times.
