Anyone else in UK waiting for Packet 3?

We received our NOA2 a couple of weeks ago which was dated 23 January 2009.

Although the weather was awful last week, it does seem like it's taking a while to move along with the Immigrant Visa Unit at the US Embassy in London.

Just curious if anyone's in the same situation and waiting on the paperwork.

No response yet, unfortunately.

I sent an email last Monday during the snowstorm and never got a response although that initial email had no special code; I subsequently received an automated reply indicating that my message would be deleted without being read.

On Friday, however, I sent another email, this time with a special code from the extortion line. The auto-reply said they have an average response time of 3-4 days.

I called the Department of State again today and still they have no record or case number under my wife's name or my SSN.

Yes, it finally came although they never responded to my email. Even with the special code.

Surprisingly, the packet was just a letter with the case number and instructions to see the web site.

At least we're moving on though.

By, PCC, do you mean the Police Certificate?

If yes, then no, you just take it with you to the interview.
