and you forgot the coffee....its ok i have my own today, its raining, first day back after a week away from work, not sure if its easier to stay home and hear the 10 million questions (then he dont like the answers) or to go on to work, peace and quiet ha

It will get better. This is one of the things we were talking about when we said patience, patience, patience. Let me reitterate (sp) PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE. It will eventually slow down but it does take a while. IN the meantime, we're here for ya!

Happy Monday! Got the overflowing problem corrected for now so all is calm and neutral in my house alhamdulillah! Got groceries and had our first guests over the past weekend so that was nice.

Hearing aides should be in sometime this week so keep ur fingers crossed that they will help my lil'man catch up on all he has lost out on.

I hope you all have an eventful and super teriffic day!

The questions definitely never end. I am glad my father lives with us so I don't get all of them. My husband also used his CNA classes to ask his teacher and fellow students many questions which saved me some. After two months some of the questions have eased up but some things have not. Still got to work on my husband using the microwave on his own though he is using it if I tell him the times to put in. I really can't blame him, the microwave can be a lot of guess work in knowing the times and takes practice. I still don't always guess the times right on some things.

Mine still has uhh "questions" of ... in Jordan it is better because of ______ so why in America is it ______ .... It probably started easing up after around 6 to 7 months(ish) Anything new, though, is a new question. I remember wanting to tear my hair out at times...

Visited Jordan-December 2004

Interview-December 2005

Visa approved-December 2005, 1 week later after supplying "more information"

Arrived U.S.A.-December 2005

Removed Conditions-September 2008

Divorced in December 2013

lol, yeah, they like to compare, but i know I would do the same thing if I lived there. My husband loves to look at all the receipts from grocery stores and such just to see exactly what they charged and the taxes. He really can't believe the taxes we pay. I have to explain we don't nationalize all our natural resources so our government has to get most of its money from tax revenue. He was used to getting a lot of things free and not much taxes because Iraq has so much oil. I swear I have had to figure out a lot of thing I never thought about before just to give my husband good answers, lol.

Happy Monday MENA :energy:

Im eating chocolate coco puffs! This stuff is awesome when cramping and moody!

Adam got approved for 6 days off work in March and I will put my vacation time in today. We are going to visit my brothers in Baton Rouge La!!! And all our friends we grew up with!!! and over to Lake Charles so he can meet my biological aunts and cousins. and then to show him my biological mothers grave sight stone that I bought in 2004. My biological birth father didnt want money spent on a grave back in 1987 when he killed her. Little did he know that the very money he thought he would get, was given to us 3 kids in 2003 and used a year later for our mothers headstone. I cant wait to see it for the first time and show Adam.

Aww, Tam- please let me know when you'll be coming so we can meet up. Even if it's just for an afternoon coffee or a quick breakfast or something, we'd love to meet you & Adam. :star:

ohhh lawd Sara, I LOVE THE PIC OF THE PRINCESS!!! Seems like just yesterday it was her first bday now here we are 3.5 months later. Where does the time go?

Im off work today, cleaning and what not. Zaid is napping. Our plumbing finally got fixed last night. Apparently tons of tree roots were growing in our pipes. 3 hours of work and 450$ later, Roto Rooters got it out.

Tasha, glad to hear the kids are behaving. Ayman will be home before ya know it!!!

I need to wash dishes and work out before zaid wakes up so I better get off my toosh.

Hope everyone has a good day!!

Kelz

Good Morning Everyone :energy:

I am off work today....called in sick to stay home with my sick daughter. We ended up going to the after hours clinic yesterday afterall and he said he thought it was just a virus too. So I am forcing fluids and soup on her to keep her from dehydrating. But she hasn't had anymore nausea since yesterday. Her fever was just 100.9 today compared to yesterday's 101.9 so maybe it will come on down today and she can get back to college tomorrow.

I am trying to do some Laundry and a few chores around here while she is sleeping and thought I would pop in and see how everyone is doing......Have a blessed Monday.

Tasha I am glad you are having a good day with the kids

Tamara we are going on vacation in March also but we are headed up your way and then on to North Carolina to visit my sister and her daughters both just had babies and I need to see the new additions to the family.

Sara your baby is sooooo adorable and has a beautiful smile.

Jess and Rajaa I to prefer to text to break the silence after a disagreement with my hubby. It just seems easier to say I am sorry in writing rather than outloud.

Everyone have a blessed Monday and a wonderful week.

Cheryl (F)

Good Morning all! wishing everybody a great week!

still no luck on finding me my escape, hopefully soon.

Thanks Maureen Good Luck with your Escape Hunting

Happy Monday! My day started off good, kids in a good mood and cooperating and a phone call from my husband saying that he's missing us like crazy.

WOW S and S!!!

PROPS TO YOUR HUBBY!

So I got my son (who turns 16 tomorrow) and my husband both ready to get the permit.

One is studying the other one is procrastinating...can you guess who??

We have had the manual sitting here for 2 months now.

Hubby hasnt even picked it up.....He speaks and understands excellent English, though I am not sure what is his delay but I know he definitely wants to get his permit.

MENA Buddies....have a good day

Had a blah weekend and quite frankly I am ready to rip someone's head off at any given moment

Where we live there is no public buses so Ahmed did not drag around any about getting his permit or his License....LOL he was tired of sitting in the house pretty quick. However, getting him to study for his GED and take that is another story all together....he is dragging around about it. :bonk:
