Happy Monday! My day started off good, kids in a good mood and cooperating and a phone call from my husband saying that he's missing us like crazy.

Good morning MENA! This weekend went by way too fast :( I got the coffee if anyone needs it.

My hubby went Friday to take his driver's test. He passed the knowledge exam but they have no appointments available until March for the driving. For now he has his permit which gives him time to practice driving here so that is good. We are trying to find a cheap car for him as well because my work schedule doesn't make it easy to take him to any job he may find. Hopefully we will get it all worked out.

WOW S and S!!!

PROPS TO YOUR HUBBY!

So I got my son (who turns 16 tomorrow) and my husband both ready to get the permit.

One is studying the other one is procrastinating...can you guess who??

We have had the manual sitting here for 2 months now.

Hubby hasnt even picked it up.....He speaks and understands excellent English, though I am not sure what is his delay but I know he definitely wants to get his permit.

MENA Buddies....have a good day

Had a blah weekend and quite frankly I am ready to rip someone's head off at any given moment

It will get better. This is one of the things we were talking about when we said patience, patience, patience. Let me reitterate (sp) PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE. It will eventually slow down but it does take a while. IN the meantime, we're here for ya!

Happy Monday! Got the overflowing problem corrected for now so all is calm and neutral in my house alhamdulillah! Got groceries and had our first guests over the past weekend so that was nice.

Hearing aides should be in sometime this week so keep ur fingers crossed that they will help my lil'man catch up on all he has lost out on.

I hope you all have an eventful and super teriffic day!

I couldn't hardly get my husband to study the manual at first either. It wasn't until he finished this CNA program that he finally buckled down. I think having those classes kept him busy but after he had to go back to sitting at home he got bored. Plus he realized how difficult it was for me to get him to those classes with my work schedule and once he has a job I may not always be able to drive him to and from. That motivated him and I was so proud when he finished reading the book in a week and took the practice exams online. The actual test had 30 questions and he only missed 3 which is better than what I did when I took it years ago, lol. He was so happy to finally get his state ID and now he can legally drive with me in the car though he is still nervous about the traffic here.

Hope your husband gets on top of things and starts studying. I know how hard it can be to get them motivated!

The questions definitely never end. I am glad my father lives with us so I don't get all of them. My husband also used his CNA classes to ask his teacher and fellow students many questions which saved me some. After two months some of the questions have eased up but some things have not. Still got to work on my husband using the microwave on his own though he is using it if I tell him the times to put in. I really can't blame him, the microwave can be a lot of guess work in knowing the times and takes practice. I still don't always guess the times right on some things.
