I'm excited that Benji won! And I liked that they brought all of the eliminated dancers back to dance. However, I wish they would have broken it up a bit. It was hard to follow the dancers I liked. And, of course, there was still too much gushing over Ivan.

All in all, it was pretty satisfying. Just found out the tour is coming to my town! Tickets go on sale Saturday. Still trying to decide if I want to go.

Yeah I kinda wanna go, but then I think it might just be me and a sea of 12-year-olds. I dunno?

i think the finale SUCKED. they wasted too much time on video clips and stuff. from like 9:20, everyone knew it was between benji and travis. then you had to spend another 40 minutes watching filler until the 'big reveal', even though cat kept saying we'd find out 'right after the break'. ugh. why does a dance show need all those singing guests? couldn't they have had guest dancers like ppl from the alvin ailey, joffrey or nyc ballet? savion glover? i mean... geez.

if they'd been better about time, just maybe we'd had have 20 seconds for benji to thank his family properly before being dousing with 20,000 lbs of confetti.

and WTH was the one guy blathering on about martha's 'personal problems' for? i mean, the contest is over, what was the point of that?

and dang, couldn't they fly celine dion over to announce the winner? instead of the obviously pre-recorded 2 second blurb.

i'm glad for benji. he seems to be a realy humble and sweet guy. i hope vegas doesn't corrupt him too much :innocent:

ohhhhh I hear ya!!!!!! But for me I think it's OK.. not that great but I like it though that they bring the dances that the judges like back. I like Martha and I think the guy talked about her personal problem because he wants to give out a reason why martha was rolling down hill from the first week.. not neccessary though.

The juges just want Travis to win.. i just can feel it.. they just give him soooo much credits.. but I guess that still not change the fact that people like Benji more

Yea and I dont understand all that singing group either.. it's a dance competition for crying out loud.. and the dancers werent that good anyway.. and why it's always a hiphop? blaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I know that Benji's going to win  eventhough i love Donyelle :D

hm... i think i want to go to the tour.. but not sure if it'll be any near me

I agree they should have brought in guest dancers instead.

I didn't see the entire show but saw the last hour. I'm glad Benji won.

I have to go along with most of what nayalamb said about the show. When they got up to Benji, and put off announcing anything till "after the break", the rest of the show was just annoying!

Travis will have a long career now as Mia's boy toy!!! I'm sure she'll invite Ivan too! :P

Cygnet, we've missed having our resident ballet teacher around giving critiques of the performances!

:lol::lol: The last 3 weeks have just been crazy... first the seminar; then Rob and I go away just before the interview; then this week, we were traveling back to the US. :luv:

By the way, my mom said she taped the show for me and will send it so I can see the group dance at the beginning. Also, I'd like to see Allison dance again. Hhmmm... don't know if I will watch everything, though.

And yes, Travis will have a good career if he stays focused. I'd be interested to know where some people end up in a couple of years.

Till next season, I guess. :D

Ok it's time for So You Think You Can Dance again! Last time I was watching this I was just home from Brazil, missing Rey really badly, and living with my parents.... ah, the memories. Sadly, many of the people who participated in this thread are gone. :(
