Just thought that it was interesting to note that there were only about 27 thousand new arrivals on CR1 visa in 2007.

BTW does anyone know what is the difference between CR1 and IR1 visas?

Another weird thing I gleaned from this 2007 Yearbook of Immigration Statistics, is that almost all who immigrated from Jordan were CR1's Feel free to post any interesting facts you noted from this department of homeland security document I found on the web.

If you've been married for less than 2 years, you'd be a CR-1. If you've been married for more than 2 years then you'd be IR-1. With the CR-1, there will be more work on your end once your immigrant spouse comes over to the U.S.-filing the conditional status. Just another way for you to prove you got married for the right reasons and not just to get a visa to the U.S.
