Good Luck!! Your approvals should be coming soon, as I have seen a few late June approvals. Try and get your documents together earlier, so you can fly through NVC. I waited to get my Employment letter, thinking that would be easy, its been a week and I still haven't gotten it in the mail.

My attorney asked me for my 2007 and 2008 tax returns and a copy of the registration for the motorcycle we both own in Costa Rica. HMMMMMM

Yea, I heard that too... Wow, can we get some consistency here? I just got my denial for the expedite yesterday, I doubt they decided to process my case. It would be a miracle if they did. But I was told that my case was in the processing area like almost 3 weeks ago. Does that mean they moved a box from one place to another?

We got both of our approvals at VSC on 2/11/09! We will pursue the Immigrant visa and cancel the K-3. Thanks to everyone who has been here for me when I needed questions answered. Good luck to you all and see everyone on the NVC side

This morning I received an email saying that I-130 is pending and a few hours later, around lunchtime, I got an another email saying

both I-130 and I-129F for my wife have approved. I am so happy now and my prayer has been answered. Thank you Lord and to VJ.

OK, I went all the way to Philadelphia for my infopass appt. The appt was 3:30. Ok between traffic and detours all throughout the city, I arrived at 3:40. I ran in the building and didn't even put money in the meter. I figured a ticket would be worth it.... Well, I get there and they tell me they are closed at 3:30. I will have to make another appt. Mean and nasty.... Can you say " cry your eyes out?" I went back in my car and sat there and cried. I called my husband. He told me not to worry. Now I need to make another appt. Take more time off from work. and to make the night even more special.... It is really windy here. A power pole went down and we didn't have any electric til about 10 minutes ago. I had to deal with my ex-husband who is a demon from H*LL. I feel totally wiped out. I want to

I can't believe immigration turned me away like they did.

It is really bad what they did to you at the appointment

It's really not fair

it like we get treated like cattle

As for me I got both approvals online and email, so it's weird

but mi NOA1 for I-130 was never received hard copy we requested a new one

we got a copy 4 months later

Most of the immigration offices do treat people like they don't matter. Its just the way they are, and we have to just stay strong. Make another appointment when you can, and get whatever you need taken care of. Good Luck!!!

I've been feeling totally wiped and utterly exhausted over the last week as well...Jen, You should make another info pass appointment b/c u've been waiting for a while now. I plan to do the same if we don't have our approval in another month's time.

ahhh thanks.... I did make another appt but there was nothing available until the 19th. GRRRRRRRR

I don't understand why they treat the USC's like #######.... It isn't like we filed the petitions for free. We all paid a fee.

WOW!!!! Good news and what appears to be an indication that my fear sthat USCIS would find some way to foul up what is a relatively simple process.

In July I submitted an I-130 petition formy wife and one for our child, and in August, the K-3 Petition.

Today, I received an APPROVAL for or little girls I-130, but not the wifes, nor for the K-3 petition.

How would they expect the little girl to come without her mother? Has this happened to you, anyone?

What in the world do I do now?
