We are on the west coast so Cheesecake Factory has awesome food and a chain called BJ's Brewhouse is really good! You can't beat In-N-Out Burger for the best burgers and fries... not to mention cheap. :star:

Hey everyone :)

when I was in Florida, I was looking for good and not too expensive restaurants. One I found (very well known though), not too expensive and they have quite a nice choice is Olive Garden. Their food is really good and tasty and the ambiance is fantastic ! :)

My fiancee and I love to go to restaurants sometimes (just to relax at the end of a long day at work, get out of the house and eat great food when we don't feel like cooking or just to break the routine) so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on good restaurants to try.

Thanks in advance ;)

I love the Cheesecake Factory and 5 guys. I only have them a few times a year as they are not in our area on New Jersey.

My husband is the General Manager of an Applebees here in NJ. We never eat at applebees. haha

My favourite food is Indian and there are so many GREAT Indian places in North NJ. My favourite is Nan King (aka The King) where it's almost like fast food indian. There are no fancy tables, it is basically based around take out. It is amazingly delicious and affordable.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I couldn't live without my Texas Roadhouse. Not sure how many states they're in, but by far the best steaks out there. My parents came to visit 2 years ago and my dad loved it so much we ate there twice in a weekend...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

For fast food chains I love In and Out's burgers. I like Del Taco's breakfast burritos as well. For sit down, I like TGI Friday's (I love this one dish they have that is chicken on a bed of cheese, served with garlic mashed potatoes and shrimp YUUMMM) Wes took me out to a place called Claim Jumper while I was there too, Had roast beef with mashed potatoes and turnip..was also very good (not a bad replacement for the Canadian Thanksgiving I missed by being down there).

One thing I must say is until I visited down there I didnt realize just how big of meals you get in the states! I could almost never finish what I was getting.

Bertuccis <3

Omg PF Changs too!

I was wondering if anyone else heard this one

as far as chains go I would have to say Bertucci's.

Other than that

in Philly we have a place called Tony Luke's

not really a restaurant but if you come by these parts....dont skip out on it

some of the best Italian sandwiches you can get

if you come in the nice weather you can sit outside and eat

there is no indoor seating

The portions are outta control here!! We went to Carraba's and I ordered spaghetti, I swear there were at least 4 portions in the bowl. I brought it home and ate it 3 more times.

I some how totally forgot Panda Express! I love their orange chicken and their ragoons...mmmmmm what could be better than deep fried pastry filled with cream cheese

Yeah went to BJ's one night (also not too bad food but I had a bad experiance so to make it on my favorites list I think I'm going to have to do another trip) and the pasta was enough to eat 3x. At least its a good price for so much food and will give me leftovers for lunch the next day lol.
