Hey everyone :)

when I was in Florida, I was looking for good and not too expensive restaurants. One I found (very well known though), not too expensive and they have quite a nice choice is Olive Garden. Their food is really good and tasty and the ambiance is fantastic ! :)

My fiancee and I love to go to restaurants sometimes (just to relax at the end of a long day at work, get out of the house and eat great food when we don't feel like cooking or just to break the routine) so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on good restaurants to try.

Thanks in advance ;)

For chains we seem to always hit either Olive Garden or Ruby Tuesdays' .... Or Cracker Barrel if we are naughty.. We find most of the time that we can split an entre with the serving portions here in the US.

For CT our fav. burger & fries place is 5 guys burgers & fries... we love Mamouns here in New Haven, and we loved Mario's pizza in Waterbury.. Oh and hubby also LOVES Uncle Willy's (local b'bque place).. :)

Outback Steakhouse!! Chili's!! ummmmm don't have too much explorations with restaurants yet. But I know I like those two. The steak I had at Outback melted in my mouth!! That was in Seattle, but I'm pretty sure they're all over. We also went to one in California called AJ Spurs. Good food and service, and very interesting decor!! But I'm not too sure if that's located all through the States or not.

my hubby and I like Applebees and TGi's for brand name restaurants..

but one of our favourite places is a Mexican restaurant called Los Flores.. mmm their enchiladas are soooo good....

for burger and fries , our favourite place is Burger Depot...

and for pizza, it is a place called New York Pizzeria

and for Chinese food, it is this place in Pomona where they have Chinese food, fried chicken, burgers and donuts... I have only tried the Chinese food and the donuts there but it is some of the best donuts and Chinese food I have ever eaten... oh we also like the Chinese food at a buffet place down the street...

for sandwiches it is a toss up for me between Capri Deli or Bernadine & Frank's Place.. if they could combine the two sandwiches it would be the perfect sandwich...

I forgot about chicken.. the best is El Pollo Loco... mmmm I love their mac & cheese and their salad too...

My favorite restuarant, well we really haven't done a whole lot of diningout. I love to cook. But Friday's nights in Wisconsin are popular for fish frys. My poor sweetie kept ordering all these different fish meals, but I didn't care for any of them. Kinda hard to sell a girl from Nova Scotia on farmed fish from Wisconsin. Even the haddock didn't taste like the haddock here. He made up for it though, he took me to a Golf Course Club House near where he lives in Wisconsin, that's called X TO C and we had the best chicken dinner I have ever tasted in my LIFE! I can't wait for him to take me back there. So if your ever drive by you gotta try it!

We absolutely LOVE the Cheesecake Factory! So yum! For burgers, we have a little burger joint here in Boise called The Big Bun that makes the best bacon cheeseburger in the world! We also love our thai restaurant called Thai Cuisine and our mexican restaurant called Fiesta Guadalajara.

I guess I'm not much help, but do try the Cheesecake Factory if you get a chance! It's way better than the Cheesecake Cafe in Canada, at least in my opinion!

The cheesecake factory is awesome, but their portions are way too big! How would you have any room for cheesecake after eating there! The 2 times I went I was too stuffed to order dessert
