Biometrics takes all of 10 minutes (once your turn is called). Simply involves fingerprints and photos. No questions and no hassles.

Bring:

  • Appointment Letter
  • ID/Passport
  • Marriage Certificate (if name changed)

US Spouse does not need to be there.

Thanks I just got my biometrics notice and it says only bring someone with you if you need them to drive or help with the biometrics sheet (whatever that means) I am assuming they mean translation. We decided I would go by myself. Thanks for all your help.

The biometrics sheet is the paperwork you fill out prior to getting your fingerprints and pictures taken - it has the 'usual' info asked on it e.g. name, date of birth, country of citizenship, eye and hair color and Social security number and A# - so have those with you to fill it out. Good Luck
