  1. 1. It's possible my fiance could get a dual citizenship in both countries. Which country would be best to file?

It depends on different people and it's a very personal choice. She needs to go with the country she feel closest to and most comfortable living in or staying in. (Or is it he?)

I'm both, USC and Colombian, so of course I would recommend Colombia. But not only that, politically it would make sense as well since Chávez doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon and Venezuela will pay the consequences down the line. I personally feel bad for Venezuelans because their situation will get a lot worse if he doesn't step down.

Colombia on the other hand, is safer than ever. Uribe has done a lot of great things for the country and is doing a lot better than most Latin American countries. Real Estate is booming, the economy has been stable, vacationing there is a blast and like I said, extremely safe and affordable.
