7/26/2007 – Application mailed to VSC

04/07/08 - INTERVIEW!!!! @1pm - APPROVED!! :))

04/09/2008 - Moving day!!

04/10/2008 - Alf will finally be home!

09/10/2008 - Mailed AOS package

09/16/2008 - NOA1 received (all 3)

09/25/2008 - Biometrics letter

10/02/2008 - Case transferred to CSC

10/09/2008 - Biometrics Appointment

11/26/2008 - EAD Card production ordered/AP approved!! :)

12/04/2008 - AP documents received

12/06/2008 - EAD Card in hand!

12/08/2008 - Applied for SSN

02/10/2009 - Social Security card *finally* received

02/23/2009 - Notice of Welcome Letter sent!! :D

2004-09-03 : Met at college in USA and went on first date!

2008-01-02 : Married in Canada.

2008-01-07 : DH returns to USA.

2008-04-20 : Finally received marriage certificate from the province and filed 1-130 Petition.

2008-07-08 : I-130 Approved!

2008-09-15 : Received DS-230 and I-864.

2008-10-14: Mailed DS-230 and I-864

2008-10-30: DS-230 and I-864 received by NVC

2008-11-04: RFE

2008-11-18: Overnighted missing documents to NVC

2008-11-26: Case Complete at NVC!!

2008-03-02: Medical in Toronto

2009-03-23: Interview! Approved!

2009-04-04: The big move. POE: Blue Water Bridge. All went well.

2009-04-16: SSN arrives in the mail.

2009-04-24: PR card arrives in the mail.

aww so adorable ^^... I don't really like small dogs but I have a soft place in my heart for chihuahuas

my cousin had one and whenever I would go over to visit he would get so excited and when I would sit down he would jump on my lap and lick my face and then curl up on my lap and fall asleep

Wow. I can't believe I haven't been in this thread since early February! :o

And.... WOW. All these pictures are fantastic! Gosh, so beautiful. And "awwwwwwww" to poor foster dog. :lol:

I love speedos!! :lol:

ROFLMAO.... I was a swimmer and played water polo for 15 years, naturally, I had to wear speedos. I could never wear them outside of practice or competition, even on trips to Europe.

Hahahaha. I hear ya. I was in competitive swimming, synchro, lifeguarding for years. They looked better on girls than guys, though. But in Europe you'd fit right in! :lol:

Jan - Interview, accepted for Green Card

Feb - Green Card Arrived in mail

2005

Oct - I-751 sent off

2006

Jan - 10 year Green Card accepted

Mar - 10 year Green Card arrived

Oct - Filed N-400 for Naturalization

Nov - Biometrics done

Nov - Just recieved Naturalization Interview date for Jan.

2007

Jan - Naturalization Interview Completed

Feb - Oath Letter recieved

Feb - Oath Ceremony

Feb 21 - Finally a US CITIZEN (yay)

That looks like a hawk. Either a short-tailed hawk, or a red-shouldered hawk.

Great pictures!

Gene and I are bird watchers. Can you tell? :blush:
