How Many Intelligent Civilizations Are In Our Galaxy?

Discovery Science certainly has enough programs on UFO's, don't watch those anymore. A common property is that UFO's all have big flashing lights to come and visit us and only go to our military, only abduct people while they are in bed, run experiments on them and return them back to their beds.

I used to believe that we'd have first contact within a few years when I was a kid but now I'm a lot more skeptical. There are a lot more cameras out there and anyone could put something on the Internet.

If we ever have first contact, it's going to be the biggest news since maybe the diccovery of the Americas.

I have heard that our particular location in the galaxy is rather remote, and sparsely populated. Perhaps, no one has bothered to look here yet, out here in the boonies, galacticaly speaking.

Perhaps we are just not that interesting to the rest of the galaxy.

Our galaxy is small compared to the universe we exist in. The Milky Way is just one galaxy or many many many x many
