Too many to list. Almost any place you can drive, fly, or take a ship into the US is a port of entry. Don't worry about it. Just book your ticket and go. Customs and immigration will do their job when you arrive.

it all depends where in VA do you want to go, BWI is baltimore so forget tht.. VA has 2 main airports where our desis's usually come to :) which are Dulles International Airport (IAD) and the other one is Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA). This is what I would've done, if your comming from karachi like i did 5 years ago to Virginia (VA). Book a flight with Qatar airways, "sab sey sukuun ki flight hai" first stop at DOHA for about 4 hours then direct to Dulles Airport.

ebad i need more help from you.

i am a student of bsc electrical engineering and we maight have to travel to the usa before my education is complete.

i want to continue my study.

tell me a way so,i wouldnt have to travel back(my aunt told me that there is a way through which i can return to pakistan for a period of two years although immigrants cant stay for more than 6 months out of usa but with special permission some people can stay as long as two years).i mgoing through my 6th semester and it has just started.and we are expected to get our family immigrant visa in almost six months(its because we went to the embassy for interview and they said we need a joint sponsor they have our passports.my brothers friends family also got visas like us and they got their passports back after 6 months .so,in our case it will be more or less 6 months i guess.)

what do u suggest?

do u have any cousin or relative who is doing the same thing as i or anyone studying in a college or university.please

let me know his contact number or yahoo or hotmail id so,i can directly contact him.

thanks a lot buddy

and we live in sialkot and the we will probably leave from lahore or islamabad and port of entry will probably be dulles because most of our relatives use that airport.

thanks again

Once you enter USA, you will go to the immigration and that will be your POE to check all your documents, then (if) you have a connecting flight then don't worry about dealing immigration anymore coz' your passport will be stamped at your POE (wherever the airport here in the USA that might be).
