Hello!!!

We are back - after two GLORIOUS years of no immigration stress!!!

I am looking at the list of evidence to collect, and I have no doubt that we have more than sufficient documents. The only thing we won't have is his name on the house --- I just have never gotten around to it.

Is this going to be an issue for us?

Looking forward to 10 more years of not having to deal with this - excited and anxious to get on with the process!!

Thanks All!!

We were just approved and my name isn't on the house either. We had lots of other evidence that showed the co-mingling of our financial assets and personal lives.

I had the same issue, my name is on our home and not my husbands. We didn't include anything about it in the first packet we sent off. We received and RFE requesting more info on communal living. So we sent them a letter that stated I had the home since 2002 (we were married in 2006) and adding his name would have caused rate changes and fees, also put a copy of the original loan note with it. It was just what they were looking for and we were approved. So I suggest that you add something to your packet of the like the first time. It's not a bad thing only your name is on the house, just be up front and explain it to them.

best of luck

We only had a couple of bills on both names and just one checking account. We had friends and family write affadivats for us and that seemed to be good enough, Claudeth was approved without an interview.
