The stuff you eat for brekkie tastes no different. :P Not that I make a habit of tasting the road.

Grits, along with hominy, must be the two most disgusting things in the world. After balut of course, which is just plain evil!

Not a huge fan of Grits. The first time I tasted them was in an airport in AL, I tell you, they were not good. Husband made some when we got home to show me how they were 'supposed' to taste....yehhhh...no.

Give me some porridge with sugar or salt and I'm happy :D

Cool, I thought I was the only one who ate what I call "yankee grits" - with sugar and milk! But they are good with butter too, or with white gravy poured over the grits and the scrambled eggs. Mmmm.....love white gravy.

That's funny

I had never had them before until my first trip to SC to visit Tim. He had to introduce me to some of the Southern ways...and I like them!! I won't mind that at all...

But frying everything you eat!!! Um....I just might have to make two meals for us!! I have a strong feeling he may not give into whole wheat pasta's and brown rice....

I'm not going to ask what balut is...
