I have not read yet some links about the process of I-485 specially for the interview. I know I can get more info directly from the people who had their interview already.

I just want to know what did you prepare and bring on your AOS interview. What are the pertinent documents that I need to show or present on the interview? Is that interview almost similar to the one for the visa application?

There is a good possibility that the AOS will be granted without an interview. You'll know in a few months. When you get the interview notice, it will list what you need to bring with you. Of course, a dozen or so photos of the two of you together in different settings. Records showing that you are a married couple (bank statements, utility bills, lease agreement or joint ownership of your home and car, original certified copy of marriage license, and other stuff that's easy to obtain). The interview takes 15-20 minutes in most cases and is often quite relaxed. The IO makes a judgment on how the two of you behave toward one another (no dirty looks or arguments please).

Thank you very much for sharing that information to us. I really appreciate it.

For others who have the same concern, I found a link just recently that would further reinforce the information shared by Old Dominion. See the lowermost part of that webpage in that link I provided where you can see the topic Interview (in person) for Adjustment of Status .
