This is not to contradict Kezzie's advice regarding an infopass appointment, but I was just wondering if infopass services are available if the benefciary is not already in the U.S.....

Hicham, I realize your frustration. I am unclear as to why you submitted the I-129F twice. You didn't receive any indication that they had received the first submission - did they cash the check? Did you cancel the first check before the second submission? Might this not confuse matters a bit?

Sounds like your wife already contacted USCIS and they told her to wait 30 days. Did she enquire about the original submission?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I-130 sent March 10 2006

NOA1 got April 23 2006

I-125f sent May 10 2006

I129f resent June 6 2006

but for the I-129f the cashiers check was not cashed. can you put a tracer on it? possibly lost in mail?

Other than that.. I still think the time is really not too unreasonable.

Please don't give up the process. Sometimes the immigration process can be frustrating. But we all are going through this. Please hang in there. Patience is bitter but its fruits are sweet.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

i agree with sarah, i think that since english is not his first language, that there were some exaggerations or mis-communicated words... you can be so supportive to others... give the guy a chance...

hicham... my prayers are with you... i did not do a k3 either, hopefully someone will come along that will be able to help you...

my thoughts to you at this time would be to tell your wife to contact her state representatives and senators, and get them to help with your situation...

I agree with you no matter what you say or think there is no reasoning with her unfortunately. I do agree with you completely Char. I don't quite understand why so many people support, congratulate, laugh and do whatever else to someone who says things like this on a regular basis but some things are just mysteries! C'est la vie.
