how long to hear from USCIS

i sent in my AOS package last week. i tracked my letter and it was delivered sunday (i guess they deliver to PO boxes on sundays?).

anyhow, i was wondering how long it usually takes before you get a notice of action and your package is forwarded?

any information would be appreciated! i am trying to get an idea of how long this process will take me, etc etc.

Take a look at some timelines. It can take anywhere from one week to a month to recieve your NOA (most people are 1-2 weeks), one week to a month after that for your biometrics (usually also follows 1-2 weeks after reacieivng NOA). Not to sure about forwarding times, but I have noticed people who get transferred to california usually find out two months after filing and then wait another 2-3 months for approval. Everyone's different though, its hard to figure out how long it will take. I try not to think about it or I will go nuts lol.
