Salam guys

we called uscis again and we told them about the case and told them too about the misspelling in the translation of the marriage contract

they told us to fix it and send it again

but i wonder

she sisnt ask our names or i dont know even if they have the packet coz i didnt get yet the NOA1 since 2 monthes

anyway am gona to fix it then send it

but i'll send it where?!

coz they already have my packet so how they can know that is my marriage contract

by the way am from seatle-WA

any help or suggestions for the whole case?

I wouldnt send an updated package until you get an NOA1. Did you send your package with a tracking number? If so please try checking the status. Also try and speak to a supervisor at USCIS, they may have gotten your case, and mailed out your NOA1 but you may have not received it. Try calling USCIS first thing in the morning.

and supervisor said that she cant give us the track number coz she cant verify the sound

and i asked her all i wana to know if u got the packet or not

she said we are sorry i cant tell u then i told her that i have misspelling in the middle name and mother name she said fix it the resend it but send it where or how can i know that they have my packet i donno know

i dont know what can i do its been more that 2 monthes and no updates

Did you make a complete duplicate of your entire I-130 package? Check the addresses you gave. Also as gueuedep says, check the receipt of your package shipment. See if it has a tracking number.

You have to keep bugging USCIS to resend or send out a NOA1, until then it is relatively useless to send in any updated papers. You and they have no way of specifying to which file it is going.... really good luck. Maybe you want to contact a congressman to send an inquiry on how to get a NOA1 or receipt copy.

Maybe they are planning to reject your papers. I had my I129 rejected (because I sent it in same package with my I130 instead of waiting for the NOA1) and it took quite a few months until I got it sent back as rejected. Now I'm thankful for that because it appears it would have taken longer for it to get processed if I had gone that route. My I130 NOA1 receipt came literally within a week from sending the papers.

It would have been a lot better if you would have paid by check, you could have tracked it a lot easier-but you'd have to wait for it to clear. I'd call again but don't tell them about the mistake. Tell them you are just trying to check the status on your petition because you haven't received a receipt notice yet. You'll probably need to have the date you mailed off the packet as well. They'll ask you a few basic questions such as name, date of birth, address, things like that just to verify who you are, you may even want to have the number from your money order. I never received my receipt notice, I had to call and get the receipt number. Once you get the receipt notice, give it a day or two, then call back and give the receipt notice, then tell them about the mistake. Granite they may ask you to resubmit the package, but at least by you having the receipt number you can just add it to the package you already have submitted and not have to pay again. Hope this helps.
