Okay so I looked on all the sites and I'm just about finished getting all my shots so I made sure I'd given myself enough time and booked my physical with Dr. Seiden's office in Toronto for the end of March. As she told me what to bring with me she then said "and $275.00" I looked on all the sites and they told me it'd be $180.00... I'm getting all my vaccinations ahead of time so I know thats not the reason it has gone up 100 bucks in price. What's the deal? Has anyone recently done their physical in Toronto and how much did it cost you?

I'm sure the fee you were quoted was accurate, why wouldn't it be? Vancouver is $350, so feel lucky.

They recently raised their prices from $185 to $275. Not really sure why, but it probably has to do with the fact that they are now a lot less competitive because there are less Dr.'s available.

I was lucky, I just had mine and I think I was probably one of the last to get it for $185.

Yeah it seems like it maybe went up Feb 1st? I have a Feb app't that I booked several weeks ago. It seems like I was the first to be quoted $275. Sucks, but what can you do.

  • 7/7/08 -- I-129f sent
  • 7/9/08 -- I-129f received at CSC
  • 7/24/08 -- NOA1 (finally!)
  • 12/2/08 -- NOA2 (WOOT!!!!)
  • 12/8/08 -- received at NVC
  • 12/22/08 -- packet 3 (with packet 4 attachment instead of checklist :P)
  • 12/29/08 -- packet 3 sent back with bits and pieces that I pulled together to make up a packet 3
  • 1/5/09 -- actual packet 3 received, but found out by via e-mail that they were satisfied with what I had already provided
  • 2/10/09 -- found out via call to DoS that my interview is scheduled!
  • 3/16/09 -- interview!!!! APROVED!!!
  • 4/7/09 -- MOVE!!!!!!!!
    Crossed at Detroit/Windsor Tunnel... pretty painless, about 45 minutes, inexperienced officer, asked for and received EA stamp
  • 4/13/09 -- Married in New Orleans!!!!!!!!
  • 5/30/09 -- Filed AOS/AP/EAD
  • 6/1/09 -- AOS etc received in Chicago

They can charge whatever they like unfortuneately - it's not something being charged back to OHIP or anotehr provincial healcare program or your own insurance.
