So I've been posting for a little while now, and I didn't even realize there was a place to do introductons until today.

Here's our story:

When I was in college (1995-1999), I used to talk in these "chat room" type things called "talkers." You had to be at least slightly computer savvy to use them (using Telnet), so they attracted a different crowd than your Instant Messengers and Yahoo! Chats. I met so many people, many of whom I'm still in touch with today. It was at that time that I met Mike. I went to visit him once for a very short amount of time, yet one of the best times of my life. We tried to have a relationship back then, but we were both so young and so broke and so far from being ready to settle down that it was pretty impossible. We had a fight and broke up. :(

Obviously we both moved on. But he was always the guy I went back to in my head when things went funny. "Maybe he was the one and I screwed everything up." "If it's meant to be we'll find each other again" and that sort of thing. I saved his emails and letters from then, and still have them!

Last year I got an email from this site WAYN.com (where are you now) that Mike was trying to find me. (Awwwww! :blush: ) We started talking again and we just clicked like before. It was kinda like getting into a pair of your favorite comfy pajamas...only more romantic :D

He came to visit me in March this year and everything was perfect. Or...as perfect as reality gets. (L)(L)(L) So Love found a way.

We're both in this for the long haul this time...we aren't going to lose each other again! So in anticipation of that I found VJ and started reading everything I could find about the whole process. It might be months yet before we start our visa journey, but by that time I want to be an expert. And now that through your posts I'm kind of getting to know all your stories, I have to keep coming back to see how you are getting along!:lol:

I'm a bit east of you in between Philadelphia and Allentown, Mikey's from Bolton, although he's in Sterling Scotland right now on a work assignment for 12-weeks (!!!) and his hotel doesn't have internet. Sterling doesn't even have a library with internet say nothing about a internet cafe. Our phone bills are going to suck for a while!!! :unsure::lol:

I wonder if other states use the abbreviation when they speak of their state. I've never heard anyone from Texas say "I'm from TX."

Get your self one of those phone cards that cost 3 cents a minute --- I get mine through digitz.com --- a few more numbers to dial but it sure beats the higher option --- And I have a question for you seeing that you are from Philadelphia --- I am going to England in three weeks and this time I will be stopping in Philly -- problem is that I have a 6 hour layover and I dont want to hang around the airport for 4 of those hours --- can I catch the train from the airport and get to the Liberty Bell --- tell me if you think there might be a better option for 4 hours in Philly ---
