CSPA changed me from F1 to IR2

CSPA changed my satus and now i'm a whole lot of problems because i have a very young child that i cannot leave behind and IR2 does not allow for derivative beneficary for this visa category. I called the NVC and they said i should send a copy of my child birth certificate to them, i guess they are gonna change mw back to F1. I'm so depressed, all this happened after i filled out the Agent of choice letter........ what if i had gotten the letter(that told me of the status changed) later i might have messed up my filing.......

SO CURIOUS......
