NBI "letter of explanation" police clearance

My wife's NBI says "no record" does she still need a "letter of explanation"? Also she has never been or worked abroad does she need also police clearance or is NBI enough?

"No record" means she does not have any criminal record in Philippines. That is a good! :thumbs: No need for letter of explanation.

If she never worked/lived in other country, all she need is Philippines NBI clearance.

Jan. 12, 2009 - EAD card and Advance Parole Received

Jan. 13, 2009 - Applied for Driver's Instruction Permit

Jan. 15, 2009 - Driving written test passed

Jan. 26, 2009 - I-485 Touched

Jan. 31, 2009 - Actual Drive test passed "got my Driver's License"

Feb.25, 2009 - Took NCLEX-RN -- PASSED--- Anais,RN

March 9, 2009 - Green Card received

March 31, 2009 - Got a JOB!!! PCU nurse in the making...

your wife still need POLICE CLEARANCE coz your on IR-1/CR/1 FILERS nd she will need that on her DS-230 when you submit at NVC nd some CO asking for POLICE CLEARANCE the day of interview.... nd its easy to apply POLICE CLEARANCE i just got mine last january 2009..

I think you cant get NBI clearance without Police clearance.

That is why i assume if you have NBI, you got police clearance too... :thumbs::thumbs:

You can get NBI clearance without police clearance.

Police clearance takes 2 working days for processing and requires Bgy clearance, cedula and 2x2 photos.
