Is there anybody out there whose I-130 is at National Benefits Center (MSC). I see discussions on VJ about Vermont and California Service Center but nothing about National Benefits Center. I am unable to find a processing timeline for 1-130 at MSC on VJ or anywhere else. Any idea what the deal is with MSC...anybody?

Since the I-130 is not an "application" nobody applies their I-130 to MSC. I-130 petitions are mailed to a lockbox in Chicago for "visa" cases. The appropriate questions would be...

1. Where did you mail the petition?

2. How did you get the impression your case file was at MSC/NBC?

3. Did you indicate the filing was for a visa or legal permanent resident status?
