packet #3 now what?

hiya everyone

im a little confused, they said in packet number 3 that i have to send an original of the birth certificate and a copy, the same with the other papers, then they say bring the originals to the interview, but it if i send them the originals first i wont have another lot of originals?? im sooo confused can someone help me please. and how up to date does your police record need to be i have one from april last year will that do or will i need to get a newer one??

I got confused with this too.. you take all of your documents to the interview with you, you just send back the forms + checklist. I'd get another police certificate just incase your interview is after April.. I'm pretty sure they're only valid for 12 months.. in the UK, at least :/

Make copies those that u'll send , those what needs to be send

and have extra for urself ,when u go interview at the Embassy.

The copy of police certifcate is good, no need to get another one.

My fiance was confused too, but after 5 hours on the phone trying to figure it out with me, we concluded that what says on the forms doesn't count, you have to follow what they say on the cover letter. Did they send you one?.

The police certificate's valitidy period varies by country. In Chile it is good only for 2 mos.
