2 weeks later same answer at social security office.......i have tried to add my wife to my bank accts, but without ssn number, they will not add her.......

my question is,...at the interview, will i have a problem because they did not release the info to Social Security whcih tied my hands ????? also, my wife arrived on a K3....she had all of her medical in Moscow Nov 2005 prior to the Moscow interview at the American Embassy....does she need again, or is she okay with the last medical exam...thanks to all in advance.....

skinsfan,

It's not necessary, but did they give you any denial letters at SSA or at the bank? If the did, you can bring at least these evidences to the interview.

You could also go to another bank (or even another branch of the same bank) and open a joint account or add your wife to your account. It actually happened to me - when we came to another office of the same bank for the second time, I was added to my husband's account without any problems even though I still did not have SSN. ;)

And good luck with you Russian wife!:dance::dance:
