Just called the state department and Sarah still hasn't been scheduled for an interview yet. We're not at the point of worry yet because we sent in her forms on 8/26 and it's only been 23 days so far. Still quite anxious though.

Little update as to how my case is going so ppl with similar timelines can see...

I had my packet 3 forms ready a while before my case came out of AP and got sent to London.

3rd Sept - Case received in London, so I booked my medical while I awaited my Packet 3.

11th Sept - Had medical in Knightsbridge Doctors.

14th Sept - Packet 3 Generated by USE. (Fiancee called DOS)

16th Sept - Sent Packet 3 - Have had Police certificate etc for a few weeks so was ready to send off asap.

18th Sept - Packet 3 received. (if anyone wants to see what it looks like i can scan a copy of it)

So now I wait for my interview date - the fantastic Royal Mail still havent delivered my packet 3 to London even tho it was paid to be registered next day delivery - at least its on its way!!

Hopefully I'll be with Britt and my daughter ASAP! Mid-October asking too much?!? Then Wedding in December!

The embassy has indeed gotten back up to speed. I, and a few other UK VJ members emailed the embassy this week asking for various information, etc with the email code, and they have replied in all cases the next day. I guess it is safe to say that they are coming around to everything now. I hope so, because another indicator of their progress is they asked my fiance for a new form (after 4 months and 1 week of AP, but at least it means they are working on his case!).

We are very happy to have NOA2,

But is still tough to release all tension until we know interview date.

It does wear on the nerves.

I feel when we know interview date, the ball really starts rolling vs just sitting there for 5 or 6 months

All this waiting you all have been doing is making me nervous. We flew through NVC to Embassy in 4 days so I was hoping that London was caught up. I really need my SO here by the end of year and was so hopeful that it would happen till I came here and read the above posts.

Is it true that you can send in packet 3 before you get it as long as you have the embassy cae number? NVC gave us are number and we are ready to send in the packet. Anything to speed it along.

Yaaaaaay! Best news I've heard in a while, that London is getting back on track time-wise, AND that your case is moving all well (hopefully) Marm!

I booked Nigel's medical for Sept 28th and we're gonna send of packet 3 by the end of the month, cause I had to print off that dang fill-in barcode form to him being his printer's being stupid right now...lol..so he should be getting THAT next week so, we'll be ready to start this thing by the end of the month, so hopefully a November interview ....my stupid worry now is Nigel's NO LIVE TRACE on his police thing due to his teenage air-letting out of tires incident that he thinks is nothing and wont find out how to get that court case cause he has no date or time for it and well the court costs 60 pounds for the dang thing! So watch we'll get a RFE for that...he thinks if he just explains himself he'll be fine but noooo we're dealing with the government here.....I donnoooooooo, always have to worry bout somefin!!! lol

Just wanted to let you all know, sent my Packet 3 on August 27th and got letter in post today for my interview, its the 28th September, so looks like London is speeding up!!! Hope its not long for the rest of you now.

Cool, good that you guys have ur date thru! One thing that always makes me wonder though, is how come u guys got the 22nd, but (and i obv don't mean any disrespect when i say this), Emma & Jeff got October 6th? Shame you guys couldnt get the same day or sooner!!

On VJ, I reckon we're probably not even half of the total applying, but what do i know! Anyone have an idea?

I'm always stewing about something! Nigel's gonna be sick of me nagging about his no live trace on the acpo thing and me wanting him to dig waaay back when he was 17-19 yrs old and find a way to head to the court to find things...i doubt he will do it...watch we'll get a rfe after the interview and they'll want the damn thing anyways! Always something over here ya know! lol But otherwise we're movin right along, doing good, missing him more every day....oh well....we'll see how it goes...hopefully all of us can keep in touch!

Well my good news today is that from another lovely vj member she said Nigel can get what they call a police subject access for 10 pounds at the local police station that shows everything since he was a teenager! So that takes about 40 days so if he sends out for it by the end of this week he should receive it about Nov5th, just in time if he sends package 3 by the end of this month and maybe get a interview a month later being our interviews are running about a month wait time lately....I make just a smidgen passed the income guideline for 3 people so I think we're gonna be ok for EVERYTHING now...thank GOD! whew!

Soooo, i just feel like a nag telling Nigel to do this do that go do this etc...but thats the name of the game! lol.

We have our interview on the 28th, so a week today.

Very nervous but tired of waiting now, just ready to get it over with.

This week is going to be awful I think. Almost 10 months of waiting for this one day.
