O.o there was nothing wrong with what she said. It's not like they deliberately give you a date that far ahead -- doesn't make them bastards. They're just working with what they have, and it depends on what people wrote their travel/wedding dates were on the application. Yes, it can be a pain, but they're human on the other end, too. It's the way the system works rather than the people who keep it working, which applies just as much to my birth certificate issues. I did complain about the lady over the phone at the FCO, but she dismissed me one day and was helpful the next.

Good Lord, if a no-b!tching about USCIS/DOS/the whole process rule were in effect back in 2007 I think the whole "class" would have been suspended for insubordination.
