woo hoo we have our interview date 4th of february , im so happy they finally did some work at the embassy

We sent in our P3 stuff to the embassy 1st week of December, called the rip off line just now, and they haven't even got the paperwork. Does anyone have any idea how much longer we will have to wait till i can get an idea on interview dates? Just that virgin Atlantic are having their sale and its damn cheep, even upgraded premium econ and a date change still works out cheaper than normal

when the package 3 has been logged at the embassy , you then wait for a interview date, keep calling the DOS or your fiance and keep asking if u have a interview date yet. November 30th 09 they recieved our package 3 , we have jus got our interview date for 4ht of feb 2010.

I think it's an issue if you mailed it 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't been logged in. Ours took 8 days to be logged in.

I think it's an issue if you mailed it 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't been logged in. Ours took 8 days to be logged in.

Ours took about 14 days just to get logged from when we sent it. (It was received and signed-for 2 days after we sent it, and then they took another 12 days to log it in.) Then it took another 24 days after it was logged for them to issue our interview date!

We never called the embassy directly, just kept calling the DoS.

I seem to have graduated since we are done with the interview. Can anyone direct me to the 'Waiting for London to send the freaking visa already' thread? Or perhaps the 'convince the foreign fiance to hurry up' thread? LOL!

On a better note.. anyone heard from Justine, or any of the others that I assume should be hearing about interviews? I am so anxious for everyone else to get through the process too!!

Side note: We had the interview on Tuesday. Friday was a holiday and the courier dropped off the Passport/Visa on Sunday.

Nope, no interview yet. I'm wondering if they won't give us a date until the beginning of February at this point because we did initially ask for an interview from mid-Feb to mid-March. I'm still going to call DOS each day, but with everyone else getting their interviews, it's not looking like we'll find out...

It's okay though. I shouldn't complain; David's coming over with me to go to Seattle in about 3 weeks to meet all my relatives for an engagement party, see wedding vendor people, and to have the house to ourselves all day while my parents and sisters are at work/school...

I would email the consulate if i was you. I sent my IV-15 and Checklist on 25 Novemeber and they have not recieved these but have recieved the other packet 3 forms i sent on the 6 November. I just called the consulate today and they told me oh but its christmas and new year so may take longer but IM WORRIED! What if there is something wrong or they didnt recieve them? At least if i email them they can tell me whats up. Urgh, i cant wait for this process to be over

So yeah, in my experience get the code, email them and find out if they are processing your forms, if there is a problem, if they have not recieved them or if it is just cause of Christmas and New Year.

Im sorry to say that the DOS lied to me I sent the last of my packet 3 on the 25th November and still no sign of them at the consulate or an interview date so im taking myself off the list of people waiting for an interview

I have spoke to the london embassy today, they have advised me that they have a 4 week backlog to deal with, they are currently dealing with the last week ok november. I got the code and emailed them last week, just waiting for a reply....still

I jus recieved my package 4 today.

My fiance is coming to the interview with me but according to the package 4 letter if any body is coming to the interview with you like your fiance , you have to send the embassy there full name so they can get access to the embassy but i am unsure how i do this?

Should i write a letter or send a copy of the package 4 letter back with his name ritten on it??

Has anybody else done the same???

Would be very gratefull wit any advise

The details of my scheduled interview are as follows:

I'm sure you could use something like this to let them know that your fiance will be coming with you. Or else give them a call, though the helpline number is very expensive.

can he only come if your disabled or they something wrong? My fiances coming jus to be with me and give me support. on the embassy website it say your fiance could come with you but it didnt say you had to have a reason.

I hope he can come now coz he has booked his plane tickets plus i dont want to go alone
