I think I'm in denial about not getting a pre-Christmas interview. This waiting is the worst I've had to deal with so far.

Same here. Called DoS today. 10 minute hold, no interview.

Thank you, you just saved me 10 minutes. I'm really not in the mood to call DOS anyways!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

I rang DOS just now. They said that london has not confirmed receiving my packet 3 back - even though I sent it by special delivery and according to royal mail it arrived on November 26. Should I be worried? Or is it just the holidays delaying things?

ROC Journey
2012-10-01: Paperwork Received
2012-12-03: Biometrics Appointment (Delayed twice)

It can take a week or two for them to open the package and process the DS forms. Thank goodness for delivery confirmation!

Ok, so I shouldn't be worrying that royal mail lied to me! I've been a cool headed person all my life, it's weird that when it comes to anything to do with this visa I become insanely nervous!

Same here. I'm oftentimes operating on the assumption "if it can go wrong, it probably will" when it comes to visas.

I sent mine back on the 6th November and the checklist on the 25th November. I phoned DOS last week and London had not logged anything. Does not mean they have not received it but looking back on this forum you can see London are slow to open and log things, im going to call again end of next week and hopefully they will have some news for me.

Also, DOS can only see what is on the computer so London have your package but have not logged it on the computer - hope that makes sense
