Oh  apologies for misunderstanding. I think copies are okay and you don't have to notorize them either, but I know Knight and his mum have done so just to be safe.

Good luck!

same here when I filled them out, I wonder if that actually check any of it

The worst one I found was the 157, I can go through my passports for the last 10 years and give travel informaion by checking the stamps, but what about all the Europe trips there are no stamps for those so that was guess work, and probably wrong.

I could not remember the dates of employment either so I applied for my tax records to help and that was a nightmare to sort out At least mine are done now to the best of my ability

Hey, i'm new to this thread now I have finally got my NOA2.....i'm so excited :D

Eeeeeeeeee, congrats! That's great news!

Also, I don't know why they ask for so much paperwork either...it just seems a little stringent, like they'll hold something against you if you're not going to be a great "asset". But at the same time, I guess they do it to ensure the validity of the beneficiary's claim to the visa. I was lucky enough to have an updated CV with all my school dates, university, employment, etc. so I just used that.

i felt like i was writing a resume/cv for employment...

Yeah...well, it's kinda good to have that on file anyway, 'cause you never know what they'll ask you in the paperwork. :( They're really demanding.

What annoys me is having to type the same information over and over again. Couldn't they just use the one form and photocopy it? They already have most of it from the I-129f anyway.

it was a pain in the butt figuring out what to print duplicate, what needs to be signed/not signed, finding all past schools....and i wasnt even filling out the papers...my fiance was. but i went thru all of them and put in answers myself for him for help so he didnt have to do it all or didnt get confused.

we sent packet 3 on the 11th, recieved/signed for the 12th and today we decided to send a nice letter asking politely to give us a interview date, ha. they keep telling me everything looks fine and dandy, but nothing. soooo we decided to try and jump the gun like dawn did :-D

so i will let everyone know if that helps speed up the process of getting a interview date :-)

It took us exactly 5 HOURS to fill and print and prepare the entire Packet 3 response. After we were done, my fiance asked, "There is no more after this, right?" And I said, "Well, there is the medical, you have to get to your GP first before that, and then there is the interview of course...and AOS for later :) " And his reply was, "But no more DS forms? Please tell me no more DS forms!":wacko:

So it is very overwhelming to work on all the paperwork, especially if you are doing it in one sitting, but once you send it and get your interview date, I think it becomes easy to forget the hassle.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

We're now waiting on our interview appointment letter and hoping to be called in before the middle of March.

Our current lease expires the following week and it would be silly to have to find another home just for a few weeks before we plan on moving.

I'm hoping everything continues to move along smoothly and efficiently.

hi

i got a question about form DS 157 :)

up until 2002 i was on my dads passport! as i was under 16! so do i need to supply the countries i have visited under his passport, cause obviously my passport will not have a record of that!

or should i just put all the countries i have visited on my OWn passport???

also i have had packet 3 for about 3 weeks should i send it back ! i have not sent it back as jess has not got all of the info together yet that i need from her so i was going to wait! also i still waiting for my POlice certificate!

should i just send it off or wait ??
