Its been months since my I - 129 was aproved n sent to london and i still havent received my package 3 . My fiance rang the NVC and they said the package had been prepared to send on the september 16th and that i should have recieved it.. so something has gone wrong somewhere. we are haveing alot of postal strikes, dont know if thats something to do with it? Is anybody else not recieved there packages yet?? we now have to do some chasing up at the embasy.

Have you tried calling the embassy? I know it's expensive, but it's worth. Did you ask then when it had been sent off? Cause if London sent if off in September, it could be that they are waiting for you. Packet 3 is only a letter with links. It used to be called Packet 3, cause they used to send you the form you need, but now you can download them on-line, this is what they expect you to do.

I suggest you call DOS again and ask if the packet has been sent or not. If it's been sent out and they are waiting for you, just go ahead, fill out and print out (how ever make copy's you need to send) and sent it. Get your LND case number and get the medical booked. In UK medical is valid for 12 months.

I have filled the forms out and im waiting on my police clearience. we jus got worried becouse we hadnt heard anything or recieve anything. my fiancee rang the DOS n they said my package 3 was prepared to be sent on september 16th so sounds like they recieved our I-129. but iv not recieved anything. But if we can do it anyways with out the package guess it dosent matter.

if DOS says that London sent you packet 3, you don't need to wait for it to come in the mail (sounds lost!) It's just the link that is on the embassy info page here. Once you have everything, go ahead and book your medical and send things back.

Know the feeling..... I just made up 20 sections for folder 1 and two. Had my mother check them twice, having my boss check them tomorrow morning, and calling my lawyers to check them again tonight...Phew! My Mum (bless her heart) picked out two spelling errors and has been a superstar with helping me to chill out.....I hate paperwork!

The evidence bit is going a bit crazy for me, so much to print off and not so much time to do it! Also the fact we have like 5 photos total of us together (He hates photos....) I think may cause us problems??? Thank god I have Wednesday off to finish up...

One thing I am worried about is the fact I changed my hair colour and have recently lost a stone in weight and gained a lot of muscle... Hopefully it wont be a issue I hope they understand and notice its the same person...Just thinner! It will probably make more sense since I put "Personal trainer/Nutritionist" on my future job prospects on one of the forms.

From what I have read on here where people have documented their interviews is that they will more than likely not ask for proof of relationship stuff. Of course have it with you which you will. They are going to be more concerned with the I-134 affidavit of support info from your fiance. It sounds like you have are almost have everything together...you should be just fine. Keep us posted and let us know how it goes!

I'd like to get some input on how you categorized your folder. I've sent my packet 3 in and am waiting on the interview... or my fience is I should say lol. What kind of system did you use.. just form numbers... doc names.. i am afraid to separate the packets or I will get totally confused :-s lost n going insane.. truly...

My UK fiance called the embassy last week and they said ours was sent sept 15th but he never got it. I'm guessing the postal strikes (grr!), so he was given the internet link to get to the forms. Hello, I have already filled the forms out, jus waiting on my police clearence n paperwork from my fiance. Im worried if we didnt recieve our package 3 and it to do with the postal strikes, what else are we not going to get. plus we have to send out forms n stuff to them , they may not recieve them either. Its very frustrating the problems it may cause. is they any other way to for the embassy to get our forms??

Good news- LONDON EMBASSY HAS FINALLY OPENED THEIR MAIL!!

NVC shipped our paperwork there on Oct 19th, and they received it on 10/22, according to DHL. Called the embassy today, and they confirmed reciept of the hard copy of our paperwork, and said P3 was sent yesterday!!! WOOOHOOOO~!!!!

Us too - DOS have confirmed London have received our package and sent the P3 to me!

I am really nervous though to send the forms back to London without the actual P3. I know it just directs you to the website, and other VJers have sent the forms back to London without the actual P3 - I am just very nervous. Anyone else in the same boat/dilemma????

NVC shipped our paperwork there on Oct 19th, and they received it on 10/22, according to DHL. Called the embassy today, and they confirmed reciept of the hard copy of our paperwork, and said P3 was sent yesterday!!! WOOOHOOOO~!!!!

Our package was received at the London embassy on the 19th and I just called and they confirmed P3 was sent yesterday also! Hopefully this means they will be processing and getting the OTHER mail out and we will have some of the people further along in the process being given their interview dates. YAY!!!!!!!!!!

JewelX, I sure hope you are right about that (interviews being scheduled soon)..I would be over the moon if we could just get an interview date. I know it is easy to say..."don't worry" about receiving packet 3 but you really don't have to. I had David read me the letter and it just directs you to the website. We were filling out the forms and were going to send them on a Monday, he just happened to get the packet 3 letter that Saturday before. His was mailed from the Embassy to him on a Wednesday and he got it Saturday just 4 days later...From what we have experienced, in the time delays of everything getting to the Embassy and it taking over 2 and a half weeks for them to even open the envelope and still to this date have not processed the forms yet, I would not wait for packet 3...I was scared for him to send the checklist before we had the police certificate back but it has taken so long at the Embassy, he has already gotten the police certificate back as well...
