our case was F4(brothers abd sisters of US citizens).we were interviewed on feb05,2009 and were denied because as the officer said.the petitioners income was not enough to support 10 people(they are 6+we are 4).we offered them to see our bank statements but they refused saying we need a co-sponsor.

i do not know anything about poverty guidlines and all this stuff.

all i know is their anuual income was 52000$ lst year.and according to the poverty guidlines for the year 2008 the money should have been 54000$.they also showed some of their assets.

now the question is was he denial a right one.

and can anyone who is not even related to us support us.of course a us citizen or permanenet resident.

please help.

That is true. in order for the assets to help they will have to show more than the difference....so if it is a difference of 2000 they need to show maybe a house or something that would i think be 4 times more the difference
