Annual income

Hi. I am new here so anyone who can share a thought would be greatly appreciated. My fiance(petitioner) has applied for a k1 visa. The application has been sent. However, i am just a little concerned with his annual income. He makes 20k annually but he lives with his mom,stepdad and her younger sister. He doesn't have any dependant though so what bracket does he have to follow? Thanks.

He filed a petition. When it is approved, you will apply for a visa. His household size is two, the two of you.

Thanks a bunch!So he just have to follow the bracket for 2 people even if he lives with 3 more people, aight? Well, actually our application was messed up. Filed on 1st week of Sept of last year, afetr a month check was cashed but was refunded because they told my fiance that he ahs to update his driver's license because they moved out. He then processed what they told him to do, sent the receipt of the updated driver's license. The problem is, he didn't have the mail certified. So after months of waiting, the check hasn't been cahsed. He called a lot of times and they told him that it should be in the mail soon. Last week of January, he finally was able to talk to an officer and told him that they sent a notice telling him to send them an updated passport photo coz the ones he sent were too old(5 months!!!). So now, i just sent him my passport pic and hopefully he can get it by Monday. Officer told him that as soon as they receive the pics, they can give him the case numebr. Isn't that a long story???

Thanks. So are we safe on the 20k income? I don't think the us embassy here in manila doesn't allow co-sponsorhip.

All anybody can tell you with confidence is that $20,000 exceeds the minimum guideline. He should state his gross income before taxes. Good luck.
