Anyone else going that day??

I got a call from them on Tuesday and I guess they raised the price from something like $185 to $275!!! Yikes!!

Glad they called and told me, I would of been mad if we showed up and didn't have enough money.

Hope we have everything...

-Money --plus 20 extra for them to send us the packet back

-Letter with case number

-Bunch of US passport size photos

-immunization record

-Passport for proof of identity

Am I missing anything?

Thanks guys.... its finally coming together!!

Oh and we just got back from the states where we bought a house for when we move in hopefully April some time...

My advice is to go earlier than 7 a.m. if you are in a rush or want to be out of there within a couple of hours.

I got there right at 7 and I was #23 in line and finished around 10:30 a.m.

Then again - I went at slightly before 7 am with my daughter (they didn't actually open the office building doors till 7 anyway) and we were out and driving back home to Kitchener by around 9:30-ish.

Brutal about the price hike though - I posted last year around this time about my medical experience, it was a piece of cake for both myself and my teenage daughter - a money grab if you ask me

Just as a sidenote though, your medical was also before they reduced the amount of offices that do medicals. I was chatting with people who travelled from Windsor, London etc. So there is definitely a lot more people being booked than before.

One lady told me she got there at 6:30, someone let her in and she was like 11th in line. She was shocked to find the whole waiting room full already!

Well the hubby is at work until around 11pm tonight...and then we will be on the road. It will take us just over 3 hours to get there, and I really don't see any point in sitting around the house for a few hours just to get on the road... I'd rather be tired after we get there than be tired driving. I am so not looking forward to the drive home though...

I think we are going to get some Timbits for the road, have been on weight watchers for a while now but think we deserve a nice treat!!
